Hurricane Milton Update No. 68

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Oct. 31, 2024) – Hillsborough County Mosquito Management Services will conduct aerial applications of Dibrom throughout much of the County this weekend to control adult mosquitoes. Hurricane Milton’s extensive rains left widespread flooding that also created ideal conditions for mosquitoes to breed.

Aerial applications of Dibrom will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. at the following locations covering 120,288 acres: 

  • Apollo Beach
  • Gibsonton
  • Ruskin
  • Seffner
  • Mango
  • Plant City
  • South Tampa
  • Town ‘N Country
  • Lutz
  • Keystone
  • Odessa
  • Parts of Lithia
  • Parts of Valrico
