It's safe to say Hillsborough has become a foodie hotspot as local restaurants have been making news left and right. This year, for #813Day, Hillsborough County is highlighting the family recipes that fill Hillsborough as well as some local stomping grounds that deliver uniquely 813 flavors!
For the past eight years, Hillsborough residents have shown love for their community on "813 Day," or Aug. 13, with social media posts, photos, and stories of adventures in the 813 area code. This year, residents and businesses are showcasing what uniquely "813" dishes they are cooking up.

Check out some local hotspots on Aug. 13 to experience their take on the Taste of 813.
- Visit one of Town 'N Country's favorite spots, Tacos Las Californias, to dig into the cult favorite, the Quesabirria Taco
- Move over Nashville, Crossroad Hot Chicken in Brandon is making Tampa Hot Chicken the next big thing. It's their second hottest flavor that's sweet, citrusy, and will leave you sweating.
- Cool things down at Revolution Ice Cream in Seminole Heights. You may already be a fan of Revolution Ice Cream's original "813" ice cream, but this year they are debuting a flavor. Here's a hint: You might be a scallywag if you don't give it a try!
