Commissioner Miller will represent Board of County Commissioners District 4
Hillsborough County, Fla. (July 1, 2024) - Earlier today, Christine Miller, the newly appointed commissioner for District 4, was sworn in to office, becoming the most recent member of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Commissioner Miller to the board on June 26 to fill the vacant District 4 seat.
Commissioner Miller's oath of office was administered by Judge James Moody III. Her husband, county leadership, several members of the BOCC, and members of the community attended the ceremony.
Commissioner Miller is the president and chief executive officer of the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce. Previously, she served as the executive director of the United Food Bank and Services of Plant City, Inc. Miller earned her bachelor's degree in natural resource economics from the University of Massachusetts and her master's degree in public administration from Florida State University.
