Hillsborough County, Fla. (June 4, 2024) - Hillsborough County has more than 410,000 residents who are 55 and over. Hillsborough County Aging Services wants their feedback in a survey about its senior centers.
Hillsborough County Aging Services, which provides programs, activities, and services for area seniors, has created a survey to learn how familiar residents are with the centers and their programs and services, and to identify service gaps.
Hillsborough County Aging Services operates seven nationally accredited senior centers that serve as an important element of healthy aging by preventing social isolation and delivering a range of services and programs. Hillsborough County senior centers are focal points for seniors to gather, learn, and enjoy free activities designed for today's active seniors. Programs include lifelong learning classes, photography workshops, sewing classes, painting groups, jewelry-making, gardening clubs, billiards, chess clubs, fitness classes, Ping-Pong, Yoga, Tai-Chi, table games, and more. Activities are for adults age 50 and over.
