Customers can now irrigate using reclaimed water
Hillsborough County, Fla. (May 20, 2024) - Hillsborough County Water Resources crews have repaired the issue at the South County Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility, and reclaimed water has been restored for customers in the south area of the county.
The issue caused the shutdown of reclaimed water used for irrigation for customers who reside in the area south of Big Bend Road, north of Sun City Center Boulevard, west of U.S. 41, and east of U.S. 301, including the larger neighborhoods of Waterset, Valencia Lakes, Harbor Isles, and Lynwood. The issue never affected drinking water.
