Hillsborough County, Fla. (March 20, 2024) - Hillsborough County will host an open house and a virtual public engagement to share information about a planned drainage improvement project on South Mobley Road in Northeast Hillsborough County.
This project is designed to reduce flooding across South Mobley Road, capture stormwater runoff, and provide water quality treatment for runoff that flows into Lake Maurine.
The project includes replacement of an existing stormwater drain under South Mobley Road and construction of a new stormwater feature to collect and treat runoff.
A virtual public engagement on Hillsborough County's Education & Engagement Hub is open for residents to review the project and leave comments and suggestions from March 21 - April 4. In addition to the online engagement, residents can attend an open house at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, to learn more.
