Hours Extended Following Hurricane Milton
- Facilities are open 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, until further notice
- Residents must present a photo ID showing the residential address of the property owner and a printed or digital copy of their current property tax bill
- Due to heavy traffic volume, please expect potential long wait times
- Residents may deliver solid waste and other items to the landfill once they have reached the yearly limits at the Community Collection Centers. Standard commercial disposal charges, also called tipping fees, will apply.
- Commercial customers may use the Southeast County Landfill facility for disposal of non-burnable solid waste and tires once they have completed the necessary paperwork. Request a waste profile by emailing specialhandling@HCFL.gov with your contact information and a description of your waste or by calling (813) 272-5680. Commercial tipping fees apply
