The Gandy Boat Ramp, also known as the Salty Sol Fleishman Boat Ramp, is located at 5108 W. Gandy Boulevard in Tampa, on the south side of Gandy Boulevard. The facility is one of Hillsborough County's larger public boat ramps and features six wide launch lanes, a boat dock, restrooms, and more than 100 trailer parking spaces.
The ramp provides direct access to the central portion of Tampa Bay, making it well suited for larger boats and offshore recreation. Its convenient location and ample parking make it a popular launch for boating, fishing and access to Tampa Bay waters.

Ramp Etiquette & Navigation
- No Wake Zones: Boaters must adhere strictly to posted idle and slow-speed zones to protect the shoreline, docks, and nearby bridge structures
- Staging Area Protocol: To keep traffic moving smoothly, operators should prepare their boat in the designated parking area before pulling onto the ramp
- No Swimming: Swimming, wading, or diving is strictly prohibited
- Boaters need to monitor the tides and be aware of conditions as they relate to the size and draft of their vessels for each area
