The Baker Creek Boat Ramp is located east of Interstate 75 and north of Interstate 4. The boat ramp provides a concrete boat ramp, parking, a small dock and a canoe/kayak launch.
This ramp on a canal leading to Lake Thonotosassa gives boaters and fishermen access to the largest freshwater lake in Hillsborough County. The lake has a variety of fish species, including bass, catfish, and crappie. The canal and portions of the lake can be shallow, so boaters should use caution when navigating the area, particularly in smaller watercraft.
