The Alafia River Boat Ramp, also called the Brandon Boat Ramp, is located near the intersection of W. Bloomingdale Ave. and S. Kings Ave. The facility features a concrete boat ramp, cement dock and parking for vehicles with trailers. No restrooms are available at this location.
The ramp provides direct access to the Alafia River, offering opportunities for boating, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. The river flows west with downstream access to Tampa Bay.

Ramp Etiquette & Navigation
- No Wake Zones: Boaters must adhere strictly to posted idle and slow-speed zones to protect the shoreline, docks, and nearby bridge structures
- Staging Area Protocol: To keep traffic moving smoothly, operators should prepare their boat before pulling onto the ramp
- No Swimming: Swimming, wading, or diving is strictly prohibited
- Boaters need to monitor the tides and weather and be aware of conditions as they relate to the size and draft of their vessels for each area
