This committee serves as an advisory role to the Board of County Commissioners and County Administrator in its participation with the Florida DOGE Team
The Liaison Committee shall be comprised of five (5) members selected by majority vote of the BOCC. The Liaison Committee is authorized to meet monthly for up to one year after initiation of the Florida DOGE Team engagement with Hillsborough County, which may only be extended by majority vote of the BOCC. The Liaison Committee will provide a final report at the conclusion of its work.
Scope
The Florida DOGE Team and by extension, the Hillsborough DOGE Liaison Committee, is limited in scope to only include departments within the purview of the BOCC. It DOES NOT include the Hillsborough County School Board, City of Tampa, Temple Terrace, Plant City, or ANY constitutional offices such as the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser, Sheriff, or Supervisor of Elections, as these are separate legal entities. We encourage the public to leave comments below to help identify potential items for us to review.

Membership
The Liaison Committee shall be comprised of five (5) members selected by majority vote of the BOCC. Each prospective member shall be a resident of, and a registered voter in, Hillsborough County. Each shall also possess at least one (1) of the following educational credentials:
- Accountant
- Certified Auditor
- Economist
- Finance Professional
- Human Resources Professional
- IT Professional
