The mission of the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART) is to take people to the places that enhance their lives
Membership
The membership of this Authority shall be comprised of 15 members appointed as follows:
Category 1
- Four Hillsborough County Commissioners
Category 2
- Four BOCC Representatives
Category 3
- Four City of Tampa Representatives
Category 4
- One City of Temple Terrace Representatives
Category 5
- Two Florida State Representative Representatives
Terms
Members shall serve three year terms.
Special requirements
- Annual financial disclosure is required.
- Unincorporated residency is required.
