The mission of the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART) is to take people to the places that enhance their lives
Membership
The membership of this Authority shall be comprised of 15 members appointed as follows:
- Hillsborough County Commissioners - 4
- BOCC Representatives - 4
- City of Tampa Representatives - 4
- City of Temple Terrace Representatives - 1
- Governor Representatives - 2
Membership is to include
- 4 - Hillsborough County Commissioner
- 1 - Mayor of Tampa or a Tampa City Council member
- 1 - Mayor of Temple Terrace or a Temple Terrace City Council member
- 2 - Florida State Representatives
Terms
Members shall serve three year terms.
Special requirements
- Annual financial disclosure is required.
- Unincorporated residency is required.
