District 7 County Commissioner
County Commissioner Joshua Wostal is a successful entrepreneur, decorated veteran, and passionate advocate for disadvantaged children.
He owns and operates a logistics business located next to Raymond James Stadium. Before starting his own company, Commissioner Wostal was recruited by a struggling family-owned manufacturing company and after successfully rehabilitating the company financially, he was named the Chief Operating Officer.
He served our country in the Navy for 10 years as an operations expert, leading a 1,000+ person team, managing a multi-million-dollar budget, and providing strategic planning and management. During his service he received the Navy Commendation for acts of courage during Taliban attacks on his forward operating base.
Commissioner Wostal has a heart for disadvantaged children, and his passion is felt in the Hillsborough County community. He partners his business with ChildHelp.org, helping over 1,000 foster children. As a children's advocate, he has volunteered with the Caps for Kids organization and as a Child Life Specialist with All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.
He and his wife, Noelle, live in the Westchase area of Hillsborough County. They have a son, Matthew, and 3 rescue pets, dogs named Walt Disney and Piper, and a cat named Lexington. Commissioner Wostal received his M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
