Overview
- This project will include resurfacing and widening of approximately 0.75 miles of existing 4-lane divided rural highway to build a 6-lane urban typical section with curb & gutter, closed drainage system, 10-foot sidewalks on each side, and median (11 feet – 36 feet). Also included will be the milling and resurfacing of Kings Lake Drive from Big Bend Road to approximately 400 feet north of Old Big Bend Road. Widening will also include the addition of a southbound left‑turn lane. A new traffic signal will be installed at Old Big Bend Road and Kings Lake Drive.
