Overview
- The project aims to address flooding along North Rome Avenue and Haven Bend, areas prone to complaints from residents. Currently, heavy rainfall overwhelms the drainage system, causing flooding until water levels recede.
- The proposed solution involves installing ditch bottom inlets and a storm sewer system to redirect stormwater runoff to an existing storm sewer on the east side of Haven Bend. This will improve flood protection and reduce occurrences of flooding.
Objectives
- The proposed project may reduce or eliminate flooding on the south side of North Rome Avenue (near 1499 North Rome Ave) and the west side of Haven Bend (between 1514 Haven Bend & 1512 Haven Bend).
