Overview

    The Shimberg Park Parcel Flood Mitigation Conceptual Design Feasibility Study Project is for the conceptual design of a flood mitigation area, water quality improvements, passive recreation area, educational signage, and partial reclamation of a closed landfill site adjacent to Hillsborough County’s Shimberg Park. This project includes only conceptual design activities.

Objectives

    The project may reduce flooding in the Shimberg Park area as well as provide water quality improvements and passive recreation opportunities.
