Position Overview
The Program Manager is responsible for the development and sustainability of a strategic and reliable asset management program that supports and optimizes the data collection and analysis of wastewater, potable water, and reclaimed water which impacts operating and financial performance. Building and directing an effective condition-based assessment program to reduce risk at optimized spending and capital investments.

Responsible for the incorporation of sea level and storm surge risk into the asset management program; the work order management software (CAMS/Oracle WAM) ensuring staff have the resources needed to maintain the system and is responsible for configuration updates requested or required; for the development and use of software and systems related to over $3B of wastewater collection and potable water distribution pipe networks; and the development and maintenance of the Department Strategic Plan.

The Program Manager is responsible for the development and sustainability of a strategic reliability Asset Management Program that supports and optimizes the data collection and analysis of wastewater, potable water, and reclaimed water, which impacts operating and financial performance. The Program Manager is responsible for building and directing an effective condition-based assessment program to reduce risk and improve asset reliability, with reduced risk at optimized spending and capital investments.

The position is responsible for the incorporation of sea level risk and storm surge risk into the asset management program; the work order management software (CAMS/Oracle WAM) ensuring staff have the resources needed to maintain the system, and is responsible for configuration updates requested or required; for the development and use of software and systems related to over 3 billion dollars of wastewater collection and potable water distribution pipe networks; and the development and maintenance of the Department Strategic Plan.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing and utilizing asset risk condition scoring for both vertical and horizontal assets in water, wastewater, and reclaimed water utility systems; asset management and work order software systems, and the replacement of these software systems; knowledgeable with strategic planning for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water utility systems, and with asset predictive modeling and capital budget optimization modeling. Possess 2 or more years of experience managing a team of staff, establishing goals and objectives, monitoring staff progress, and evaluating staff performance, exceptional leadership skills in organizational processes, resource allocation, and time management and an excellent communicator to a wide range of stakeholders. Prefer IAM certification or other similar asset management professional certification.
