Job Overview
This position is responsible for performing instructional, inspection, and investigative duties in support of County workplace accident prevention and safety education programs.

Minimum: $19.58

Job Specifications
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing workplace health and safety.
• Knowledge of workplace accident inspection and investigation techniques.
• Skill in making presentations to groups.
• Skill in the use of interviewing techniques.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to collect, organize and evaluate data and to develop logical conclusions.

Minimum Qualifications Required
• Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate; AND
• Two (2) years of experience in workplace safety training, accident prevention, or accident investigation; OR
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above; AND
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License.
