Debris cleanup options for residents affected by Hurricane Milton
- There will be no storm debris collection on Dec. 24, Dec. 25, and Jan. 1.
- Temporary debris collection sites will follow the schedule below.
- Dec. 24 Open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Dec. 25 Closed
- Dec. 26 Open at 7 a.m and continue 24-hour operations at the Resource Recovery and Hillsborough Heights Temporary Debris Site locations
- Dec. 31 Open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Jan. 1 Closed
Note: Lake Park, Valrico Spray Field, and SE County Landfill temporary debris sites will permanently close at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21
A. Storm Debris Cleanup
Hillsborough County is cleaning up after Hurricane Milton and collecting storm debris from streets and neighborhoods countywide. Over 150 specialized trucks are on the road seven days a week and have the capacity to collect 60,000 cubic yards of debris daily.

B. Hire a Contractor for Storm Debris Disposal
When hiring tree trimmers or landscapers to dispose of storm debris, residents must print out the applicable form below, fill it out, and sign it for the contractor to present it at any County drop-off location to prove they are authorized to dispose of the debris on behalf of the resident.
